Bio
My name is Liv Doura and I am a sophomore at Sarasota High School in Sarasota, Florida. For my portfolio project, I created the title scene to a film that would redefine social norms in high schools across the nation. In the film, I attempt to point out the everyday prejudice and racism experienced by African American students that administrations and peers have turned an indifferent eye from for years. My goal is to embark on an analysis of my portfolio with the help of four insightful questions, " How does your product use or challenge conventions and how does it represent social groups or issues?", "How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?", "How did your production skills develop throughout this project?, and "How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware and online – in this project?". In answering these questions, I will do my best to creatively reflect upon my work through several different digital formats to answer the compulsory questions, including this website.
